Wise was one of Sam's players at Wimbledon and was targetted by City when he left Chelsea and when he left Leicester. He is now player manager for Millwall with Ray Wilkins his assistant.

The last time the teams met was a 2 - 1 League Cup win for Millwall at the New Den. Previous to that the teams played together in the 1999 / 2000 season.
