The majority of matches are being played on Saturday. Bottom placed Rotherham, who parted company with Ronnie Moore this week, entertain second bottom Nottingham Forest. Forest picked up a reported £8m for the sale of Michael Dawson and Andy Reid to Spurs this week but they are 7 points from safety. Gillingham who occupy the other relegation place are away at Watford.
With City not playing until Sunday we will know exactly what we can achieve by winning at Upton Park. The best we can hope for positionwise is to move up 1 place if we win and if Gillingham beat Watford. I'd prefer though to see the Gills lose giving us the chance to extend our lead over the relegation zone.
