I have just watched the interview with him on Cardiff City World and at the end of it I cheered like a kid and shouted "we've just signed Robbie f**king Fowler!" (it's a good job there was no one else in at the time!).
Over the last fortnight I have expressed some doubts about how effective Fowler would be for us if he signed, but, now is not the time to go into that, this is a time to enjoy the highest profile signing the club have made for at least forty four years.
Congratulations to Dave Jones and Peter Ridsdale for pulling off such a coup and I'd like to wish Robbie Fowler a happy and successful stay in South Wales - now let's see the local sporting public respond to this show of ambition by turning out in numbers now matter who we are playing as opposed to just when a "glamour" team is in town.
