West Brom have played down reports of a dressing room bust up after the 3 - 3 draw with Cardiff on the weekend.
"Tensions were understandably running high in the dressing room, but the incident has been sensationalised in the media," said a club spokesman.
It's claimed that England U21 international Saido Berahino suffered a head injury in the bust up.
Berahino set up Albion's 94th minute goal to make it 3 - 2 to the Albion. Moments later Berahino broke with the ball in a counter attack that should have been the last action of the game.
Albion had four players to Cardiff's one as they attacked but instead of Berahino making a crucial pass to a team mate or just heading for the corner flag to soak up the final seconds he lost possession to the one Cardiff defender.
Within a few seconds City had the ball in the Albion net to make it 3 - 3 and that was the end of the game.
Berahino was reported to be the target of verbal abuse and physical confrontation.
"What happened is not uncommon in a dressing room and shows that the players care," added Albion's spokesman.
"The players involved have apologised. The club has drawn a line under the matter and is now fully focusing on Saturday's important game at Norwich."
