A knee injury to my goodself meant I was a passenger for the journey to and from the Walkers Stadium. I was able to sleep most of the way back and forget about the 2nd half battering I'd just witnessed.

The opening 45 mins did litle credit to either sides attacking credibility with the keepers hardly troubled most of the time. Lee Naylor embarrassed the Leicester custodian to give Cardiff the lead while Marshall was relieved to see a Foxes far post effort go inches wide.

The opening 45 mins saw Leciester on top, then City on top and then Leicester on top. Cardiff had the advantage and we wondered if we could keep it.

The attack from Leicester in the 2nd 45 was savage and Cardiff were cowering from the restart. Two goals from the home side came and put Leicester clearly in control and it became pitiful to see Andy Keogh made a plaything for the Leicester centre halves. He kept running into them time and time again as City resorted to panic filled long balls from an under pressure defence.

The absense of Olofinjana was obvious, we had no-one to take control of midfield and the absense of Bothroyd and Bellamy meant no threat going forward.

No side could cope without the infuence of Olofinjana, Drinkwater, Bellamy, Chopra and Bothroyd.

Q.P.R. took advantage and won 3 - 0 at City's next opponents Ipswich. Cardiff are still 2nd but must reallly follow in Q.P.R.'s footsteps and bring home three points from the East of England on Saturday.
