Wales needed a draw against Greece today but defeat meant that Portugal went through.
Wales took the lead through Spurs' Scott Thyer. Greece levelled before half time and scored the winner in the 73rd minute.
Cardiff City's Jamal Easter hit the bar in the 90th minute and the rebound was put against the post by Thyer.
