Now City face a challenging February with fixtures against two of the top three in the Championship and an FA Cup trip to holders Chelsea.
Cardiff have six games in February starting at St James Park this Friday against leaders Newcastle. 2,700 City fans are heading to the North East for the 7:45pm kick off.
That's followed by a home game against Peterborough on Tuesday Feb 9th before the match at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 13th, ko 12 noon. 5,800 fans heading to London for that one.
The month continues with Championship games at home against West Brom and Barnsley before a trip to Preston on Feb 27th.
If that seems busy enough then looking ahead to March City have eight Championship matches scheduled with the club playing midweek and weekend all through the month.
