He has made just three appearances for Crewe this season, two of them off the bench and has no goals to show for it. Last season at Wrexham he scored 23 goals in 16 league starts. They include two hat tricks, a foursome and a five goal haul as well in one game.
The loan move could extend longer than a month
"I would only really look to bring him back here if I was going to play him in the first team," Dario Gradi told the Crewe official website.
"Hopefully, he can go out on loan, score some goals and show that he has the ability to come back and make an impact in the Championship."
