Unless they are docked points, something I don't think will happen, then Q.P.R. have almost done enough to secure the first of the automatic promotion spots.
The second is up for grabs with Norwich, Swansea, Cardiff, Leeds and Forest the main contenders but Reading and Burnley, who both have a game in hand, will not have given up yet on 2nd place.
While Cardiff are just 4 points off 2nd place they are only 3 points above 6th place. There's no room for error now or we could find ourselves pipped for a play off place. It's happened before.
Cardiff's remaining 8 fixtures are:
Sat Apr 2nd. Derby H
Sat Apr 9th. Doncaster A
Tue Apr 12th. Sheff Utd A
Sat Apr 16th. Portsmouth H
Sat Apr 23rd. Q.P.R. H
Mon Apr 25th. Preston A
Sat Apr 30th. Middlesbrough H
Sat May 7th. Burnley A

The other teams have to play each other as well. Norwich for example have to face both Swansea and Forest in their remaining games. Swansea have to play Hull, who held Norwich yesterday, and go to The New Den and Burnley.
It's a long way from being over.
