Twenty's plenty as City reciprocate Reading offer

The Premier league have capped all away tickets at £30 but the Football League have not followed with any sort of ruling. But visitors to the Madejski will only pay £20 per ticket.

As a gesture of goodwill Cardiff City became the first club to offer Reading the same deal when they come to CCS later this month.

Other clubs have not been as accomodating with Reading fans being charged upwards of £30 and more for games.

But well done to Cardiff for leading the way in reacting to Reading's sensible offer.

As a club, we contacted a number of our counterparts at clubs up and down the country and we are delighted to announce that Cardiff City have become the first to agree to a ‘Twenty’s Plenty’ price cap in return.

We hoped ours would be a structure other clubs would admire and adopt and we would like to applaud Cardiff for their reciprocal ticket price cap – a move which will mean Royals fans will be able to enjoy affordable football in the Welsh capital when we take on City at the end of August.

We will continue to request reciprocal pricing arrangements at clubs our fans will visit throughout the 2016-17 campaign. We regard this as another step in the right direction.

Tickets for this game are due to go on sale next week, so we look forward to our supporters enjoying affordable football in the Welsh capital at the end of August!
