Despite that we are still in 8th place and are only 2 points off the play off places. City though have seven games coming up in which to pick up points against teams outside the top 10.
The next 7 league games see City play Millwall (12th), Walsall (13th), Watford (20th), Rotherham (18th), Bradford (23rd), Notts Forest (15th) and Derby (22nd). (Current position in brackets).
21 points available and if City are serious about challenging then we must look to bag most of those points.
After that it get's harder. The next three games see City face WBA, Sunderland and West Ham on consecutive Saturdays.
This Saturday's visitors Millwall are the only team we have not faced yet this season. We have played exactly half our games having twice played (and beaten) Stoke City.
It's also worth noting that our next 4 games (three of which are at home) all have early kick offs. Millwall H (12:30pm), Walsall H (12 noon), Watford A (1:00pm) and Sheff Utd in the Cup on Jan 3rd at 12 noon.
