Thompson on the mend

Thompson is training with the main group of players on the trip to the Algarve. City's next match is on Tuesday at home to Millwall. We will find out nearer the time which players will be in contention.

Rhys Weston and Gleen Loovens are still receiving treatment for their injuries.

"At the moment both Glenn and Rhys are out of the mix, working with Alex Armstrong to get them back to full fitness," Dave Jones told the official website. "Steven has joined up with the main group again and is now back in full training, which is good news.
