Thompson heads North and signs for Burnley

The centre forward, on the transfer list for over a year, has signed a two year deal at Turf Moor.

Ironically it was against Burnley that Thompson scored twice on his City debut.

We wish him well in the future.

With City having brought no one in on deadline day our squad just got a little thinner.
