Cardiff had taken a 45th minute lead when Jay Bothroyd's cross found Michael Chopra in the box and he cooly controlled the ball and turned to fire into the net.
Burnley if fairness had a lot of possession but their efforts on goal were mostly restricted to off target shots from distance.
It was one of those games where it could have gone either way. In that respect I don't begrudge Burnley their point but it's always disappointing to concede a goal in the last 10 minutes, especially to a former player.
Michael Chopra did get the ball in the net again before Burnley scored but the offside flag went up from one of the fussy and at times weak officials. The fact we conceded a goal wasn't their fault though. The water tight defence we've seen in the past couple of games made one slip and it cost us 2 points. C'est la vie. 7 points from the last 9 is still good going and while dissappointed I'm realistic enough to say a draw was a fair result.
Forest are at Scunthorpe tonight and a win will take them above City still with a game in hand. Let's hope Scunny do us a favour.
Then on Saturday Cardiff are at The City Ground. Now that will be a test.
