The Championship weekend

Last updated : 28 December 2012 By Michael Morris

Hull City, currently five points behind City in 2nd place, will have played their game against Leeds Utd before City kick off. What ever the result at the KC Stadium it will give Cardiff an incentive to either reclaim their 5 point lead or possibly even extend it.

Middlesbrough in third place are also at home. They face an unpredictable Blackpool side that tends to score in most games

Palace, who are fourth - seven points behind City, are away at Forest who last night appointed Alex McLeish as their new manager after sacking Sean O'Driscoll on Wednesday.
