The Championship weekend

Last updated : 27 October 2006 By Michael Morris
Preston face Burnley at Turf Moor tonight knowing a win would take them level with City having played a game more.

Preston have only lost once this season and will make it 12 games unbeaten if they avoid defeat tonight.

Burnley are 7 points behind City so maybe a draw would be the best outcome but for sure we don't want Preston to win.

Of the other challengers West Brom in 3rd place face Birmingham City in a West Midlands derby at midday on Saturday.

Saturday's fixtures are below and on Sunday Ipswich entertain Luton Town.
