The Championship this weekend

Cardiff's nearest challengers are Birningham City. They are the only team that could mathmatically overtake us this Saturday. To do that we'd need to see a City defeat with a Blues win and a seven goal swing. That's unlikely to happen so City are set to be leaders until at least October 14th when we go to Palace.

Of course a City win would see the gap stay at least at 3 points.

Southampton, Preston, Palace and Wolves are all 4 points behind City are will be hoping to close in on the leaders.

Colchester are facing Ipswich on Friday evening. The Saturday fixtures are as follows
