Thank you for your reaction to the music issue

He is the messenger in this instance. Whether your views will sway the plans of the club remains to be seen.

We will see on Saturday if Michael Chopra scores a goal.

Ali will have to play what he is told by the club.

To give you an idea there was just about no one who was totally happy with goal scoring music.

I received one comment of "bring it on" which I assumed to mean music for goals. That was the only one in full backing for the ideaa.

Several people could appreciate the idea of attracting kids to the games. In that way they would accept the inflatable gimmics to keep the kids entertained.

What 99.9% of people refused to sanction was a musical celebration after we'd scored.

Absolutely not.
The best moments when watching City are when we score a goal - taking in the fabulous atmosphere and the huge noise generated by the faithful. If music is played it will drown out the sound of the crowd and will certainly de-value that experience.
Please, please, please, no music.

NO NO AND NO

and

Please count my vote as a definite NO to any celebration music

I'm rarely motivated enough to get off my backside and write to anyone about any particular issue, even though I've got quite strong opinions about many matters. However, this music after scoring goals thing really does bother me! I've been so proud that we create our own atmosphere at Ninian Park without the aid of trumpeters, drummers and music after goals. I hate any team which employs such nonsense.

The response from the fans who use this website and messageboard is quite conclusive.

NO MUSIC AFTER SCORING A GOAL.
