On Tuesday this week FK Sarajevo coach Robert Jarni was sacked by the club. His replacement lasted two days before he was fired.
Jarni was only appointed in December and had the Bosnian side 4th in the league and in the semi finals of the Bosnian Cup.
But that was not good enough and Jarni was sacked with the following statement published.
“The board of FK Sarajevo was the unanimous view that since the beginning of the spring part of the season we look dubious, non-dominant, inefficient, disengaged and unmotivated,” read the statement made by club chairman Edis Kusturica.
“Taking into account all that has been invested and provided the players and the coaching, it's not enough for ambitions and expectations, administration, and the army of supporters and fans of FK Sarajevo.”
The club then appointed former Red Star Belgrade European Cup winning boss Ljupko Petrovic but he lasted just 48 hours after a picture emerged of him alongside Serbian warlord Arkan.
Petrovic has now had an 18-month contract torn up after pictures emerged of him posing with Arkan, the Serbian warlord indicted for crimes against humanity during the Balkan conflicts. The image shows Petrovic aiming a weapon under the toturage of Arkan.
Appointing successful managers seems to be a problem for Mr Tan!
