"I've felt demoralised because I haven't been able to train properly yet but I am also fired up inside and hungry to do well for Cardiff City," Taiwo told the Echo.
"I have never been in the situation of not being a first-team regular before. But I am dealing with that and I will come back even stronger for the new season.
"I am determined to make the most of my second chance with Cardiff. It's an alien situation for me being out of the team. That's something I haven't really experienced before."
