A crowd of around 50 braved the cold at the County Ground, Swindon to see a first half where City were the better team with Gavin Gordon going close and Gethin Jones, Mark Bonner and James Collins the players to impress.
Second half as City played with the wind behind them they overhit their passes and did not play as well.
Swindon's first goal came from a super inswinging free kick that Luke Nightingale got on the end of giving Margetson no chance. The second goal from sub Neil Crosby made the game safe for Swindon with 5 minutes remaining.
