James Collins is hardly likely to EVER blend into the background - even the most poorly sighted among Cardiff City's fans could spot the 20-year-old from 40 paces in a blizzard. MI5, as a career option, was always a non-starter.

But on the subject of careers, the Newport-born stopper is feeling a little bit ignored by his manager, Lennie Lawrence.

In fact, it's fair to say that in Collins' eyes, he just can't seem to get noticed by the man who matters most at Ninian Park.

That's despite no end of enthusiastic sprinting up and down the touchline and enough stretches to make Jane Fonda wince.

"I'm just trying to catch the gaffer's eye because I want to get on the pitch," said Collins.

"Danny Gabbidon seems to go down every game with a tweak and as soon as that happens I'm up out of the dugout and stretching to give the gaffer a nudge - but Danny always runs it off!
