"We defend as a team," Jones said
"And it's the same going forward. It's not about one person. If you have a goalscorer like Michael Chopra, he gets the goals and he gets the headlines - but you don't see him kicking off on his own and doing it all himself.
"Within the club we talk about what we're doing collectively rather than individually.
"We've got a good team spirit and everybody wants to do well for each other - there's a great camaraderie. It's all part of what we're trying to achieve."
City face an inconsistent Sheffield Utd side today who are on a poor run with their fans getting on the back of the manager. Hopefully the Bluebirds' team spirit will see them to a first victory at Bramall Lane in two decades.
