Russell Slade has announced his full back room staff at Cardiff City Stadium.
Scott Young (pictured after scoring his most famous City goal v Leeds in 2002) will be his assistant manager and Danny Gabbidon, who was co-caretaker manager before Slade's appointment, continues as player coach.
As reported last week Martyn Margetson has returned to the club as goalkeeping coach and there are two new senior coaches.
Former Academy staff James Rowberry and Kevin Nicholson become first team coaches.
Slade told Cardiff's official website: “I’m delighted with the four appointments.
"Scott, Martyn, James and Kevin are key additions to my backroom team, bringing experience, talent, enthusiasm and passion to our football club.
"Scott is a Cardiff man, he is entwined with this football club and wants to see us flourish and succeed. He has been extremely supportive to me since I’ve come in and appears to be relishing in his new role at Cardiff City. He will be an integral part of what we do as we move forward.
"Marge’s (Martyn Margetson) appointment is also ideal. Sometimes things fit and with his roots being firmly with us here at Cardiff, we couldn’t have hoped for a better person to come in. He brings experience and will offer a huge amount as part of the management team.
"James and Kevin are fantastic additions as first-team coaches. Again, they are passionate about what they do and bring an enthusiasm to work every single day.
"As with Scott and Marge, they have a lot to offer and their work with the Group is already bearing fruit. Both are extremely talented coaches and we’re fortunate to have them here with us. It’s a sentiment felt by the staff and players."
Slade also confirmed James McCarthy and Darran Lovell would return to their roles with the Academy and Development setup after recently assisting him with first-team duties.
