Russell Slade has responded to media reports linking David Marshall to a £5m interest from Liverpool.
"I've seen reports regarding David, but we have had no enquiries or approaches for him at this point," said the City boss.
"Everyone is aware of the quality he has and he was important for us last season. David is not disgruntled at Cardiff or anything like that.
"He is very settled at the club in fact. David is very professional and dedicated to what he does.
"We would certainly hope and expect that he is with us next season. That's how things are right at the moment, anyway."
Marshall, the Scotland No.1 keeper at the moment, has made over 230 appearances from Cardiff since his move from Norwich six years ago.
