Russell Slade apologised to fans after his side were humbled at home by Brentford. The 3 - 2 scoreline seems close enough but Brentford ripped Slade's side apart in the first half and for some that was enough. Hundreds left the stadium at half time totally fed up with the football and the club.
"It is frustrating that lack of consistency" he said. "It is annoying at the minute. Last week at Bournemouth was similar, we gave ourselves a mountain to climb.
"We have got to be more ruthless in both boxes. We need to be consistent and care for 90 minutes. The second half was fantastic, but we were already 3-0 down.
"I can only apologise to the fans for the first half, I am as frustrated as they are, we got ourselves in a situation that is not helping anybody."
