Defender Michael Simpkins is currently out on a trial with Plymouth Argyle. The former Chesterfield player has been at Ninian Park for just over a year but has had few chances in first team games since returning from a nasty injury picked up against Swindon at the County Ground last season.
Simpkins, a left back, is obviously not in Lennie's plans, especialy with the arrival of both Gary Croft and Chris Barker.
Simpkins played for Plymouth in their reserve game against Millwall yesterday. The Pilgrims lost 1 - 0 at the Den after a Kevin Braniff penalty.
There is no further news on whethere he will be offered a contract at Plymouth.
