David Marshall, Kevin McNaughton, Gavin Rae, Ross McCormack, Chris Burke and Paul Quinn will know all about the Bhoys. Marshall is a former Celtic keeper, Rae, Burke and McCormack played for rivals Rangers. McNaughton played SPL football for Aberdeen.
Quinn, from Motherwell, is looking forward to tonight's encounter.
He said: "The match against Celtic is going to be special for me and all the Scottish lads.
"I've played against Celtic many times, of course, but it's a big occasion and it's great that they are the team to officially open the stadium.
"They will bring thousands of fans to the game and I can't wait to see what the atmosphere will be like, especially before they play in Europe.
"Personally, it's a big move coming to Cardiff City. I grew up with Motherwell and they were my only club.
"But I've settled in well, especially after the trip to Portugal, and I'm relishing the new challenge.
"There are five other Scottish lads in the squad and that has made it even easier for me to settle in.
"When Cardiff came calling it took me no time at all to decide. It was a no-brainer.
"The club is ambitious and everybody wants to take that step up to Premier League football."
