It's Jones' preferred XI anyway.
Barring any last minute chnages City are expected to line up
Alexander, Weston, Purse, Loovens, Barker, Cooper, Koumas, Whitley, Ledley, Jerome and Ricketts.
There is no news yet on whether Michael Ricketts will stay at City for longer or whether he will return to Leeds in January.
City are in 7th place and victory over Plymouth could see us back into the top 6. It's a busy week for City. Just 48 hours after the Plymouth game we face a tricky trip to QPR and just 72 hours after that we are back at Ninian park to face Southampton. Then it's a trip to leaders Reading on Monday to open up 2006.
As this is my last preview before Christmas I'd like to saying Marry Christmas to dave Jones and the players who have done a remarkable job in getting us into the position we are. 2005 had not been an easy year to be a City fan with several dark days but hats off them, the boys done good.
Plymouth come to Ninian Park on the back of a fine 2 - 0 home win over Crystal Palace. City will have to be careful though, despite only winning once on their travels this season Plymouth have drawn 8 games. City have to find a way to breakthrough and not be frustrated like Derby. Plymouth will surely be looking to defend from the start.
Finally to all the readers of the website. Merry Christmas to you all.
