It's obvious though that Klos' people have been feverishly trying to set up a deal before the player arrived back in the UK. It looks as if they succeded just in time and convinced Klos that he would be better off staying in Germany.
There are appears to be little fault on the player and certainly no fault of Cardiff City who did all in their power to secure the services of the Polish international.
Sam Hammam remaind defiant and has said that the club will continue in it's efforts to sign new players.
He told the Western Mail
"When things like losing Klos happen, it only strengthens our resolve.
"We lost Fitz Hall so we went for Klos. We have now lost Klos so we will find somebody else - somebody better. We have taken another knock. But all that does is make us more determined to make the next step up.
"To bring someone of Klos's calibre to Cardiff City would have been a good thing. But I don't view what has happened as bad luck. We are already looking at signing other players. We are working on a number of options. Our next signing will be a very powerful one."
