Russell Slade has emerged as a candidate for the vacant managers post at Blackburn Rovers.
Paul Lambert left Rover in April and the club have highlighted four possible successor's with Russell Slade and former Rotherham boss Neil Redfearn amongst them.
A statement on the club’s official website stated: “Rovers are making progress in their search for a new manager. The club have identified four potential candidates and the interview process is now underway.”
Slade is currently set for the head of football role at Cardiff after being stood down as manager.
