Bryan Robson is due to speak to Jason Koumas ahead of his expected return to the WBA training ground. Cardiff and WBA are locked in a battle to come to a deal over the future of the Welsh international. Koumas has been granted extra time off after dental surgery. He is due to report back to WBA on Tuesday.
"We'll be touching base with Jason on Monday," Robson told the WBA official site.
"I've got talks planned with him and his agent.
"Cardiff haven't made an offer which is acceptable to this football club so Jason remains a West Brom player.
"He's contracted to us and he showed with Cardiff, by scoring 12 goals for them in this division last season, what he can do.
"As long as we can resolve things, Jason could have a big part to play for the club."
