Comments from CCMB
Cardiff's superior strength and experience eventually overpowered swansea's young side.
Assured performances in the back from Yorwerth and Oshilaja and a very big game from Mutch in the middle of the park. Sadly Kiss was taken off following a poor challenge and replaced by Nathan Blake's godson Wharton, while Ralls struggled to get involved as he was forced to play wide midfield where his lack of pace was exposed.
Harris hurt the Swans with some direct running and it was a trip on him that gave Ruddy the chance to score a languid penalty.
Tommy O'Sullivan struggled as a make shift striker - he normally plays midfield, but the new signing Healy proved a handful for the hosts when he came on in the second half. Small but wiry, the shaven headed striker was always looking to test the Swannsea keeper.
Overall only Mutch looked as though he could improve the first team squad with his powerful running from midfield.
