City had been trying to play a match at Portsmouth but that plan has been scrapped.
The first Pontin's League reserve game is at home to Oxford on Jan 14th.
Scott Young is hoping to return when the reserves next play. Physio Clive Goodyear confirms Young is fit and Scott has not given up hope of making a contribution to the first team this season. It will be a year in March since Young last played in a Nationwide League game.
