O'Neil has been superb for City in the 6 weeks or so he's been here and it's not impossible to see him at Ninian Park on Tuesday playing for Portsmouth.
O'Neil is (was) cup tied for City in the Carling Cup but can still play for Portsmouth. Putting professionalism aside it will be a difficult situation for O'Neil to find himself in.
Whether this means a complete end to his time at City I'm not sure. In case it does then for the time spent here thanks very much. He is one of the best midfielders to grace Ninian Park in a long time.
