Reading are on a roll. 5 wins in a row have catapulted The Royals into the promotion mix. They have consolidated 6th place and are just three points behind Cardiff who are 3rd. Reading have ousted Nottingham Forest from the play off places and they face Forest at the City Ground on Saturday.
The promotion race is starting to get really exciting but it's key this weekend that Norwich are not allowed to pull away. The worse scenario would see Norwich beat Swansea after Cardiff lose at Doncaster. That would virtually hand 2nd place to The Canaries. On the other hand Cardiff and Swansea wins would see the three teams all within one point of each other.
At the botton Preston are 8 points adrift of safety. It's looking like Scunthorpe, Preston and Sheff Utd for the drop. While there's hope though these teams will battle and Cardiff face trips to Sheff Utd (Apr 12th) and to Preston (Apr 25th).
