Premier League attendance averages

Last updated : 29 November 2013 By Michael Morris

With a capacity now of a tad over 28,000 Cardiff have achieved the highest they are going to get this season (unless attendances at other grounds drop significantly or they get more seats in CCS).

The Bluebirds average 27,540 from the six home games played so far. Interestingly that's higher than every team currently in the Championship.

Ten years ago average attendance for the 2003/04 season (City's first in the Championship) was 15,569. That was at Ninian Park.

The first season at CCS in 2009/10 saw an average of 20,717.
