Details are still to be finalised for City's pre season campaign but so far we know the club will play away games at Barry Town (Aug 7th), Yeovil, Forest Green Rovers and Cheltenham Town.
The one home friendly will be against Premier League opposition before the new season kicks off on August 18th.
Malky Mackay will be taking his squad to Switzerland for a training camp. There will be no games played but fans will be invited to watch on a particular day if they want to follow the club.
“I know Cardiff fans enjoy following the team abroad for pre-season trips and if they want to come to Switzerland that’s fine,” said Mackay.
“But they should know up front there won’t be any matches to watch.
“I will, though, arrange one day when the fans can watch the players train if anybody wants to do that.”
“We have virtually agreed everything on the home friendly and there are just a few things to finalise before that can be announced."
