Raymond Verheijen landed in Cardiff on Monday and checked on the injury to Craig Bellamy.
He tweeted 'As expected, earlier today the scan showed no damage done to CB's hamstring. Smart move by CB to come off when he felt some tightness.
'However, as one should raise the bar as high as possible in football, it's our responsibility not only to avoid injuries but even tightness.
'This morning we did a critical evaluation & with CB being an explosive player it's very obvious where the hamstring tightness is coming from
'All season we have stuck to the '1 game per week' principle as this approach has kept CB injury-free for almost 2 seasons already.
'In last month CB played 3 games in 7 days followed by 2 games in 3 days & 2 games in 5 days. We're collectively responsible for this gamble.
'Thankfully, CB survived these 7 games in only 28 days without any injury. So, now it's decision time tomorrow. Another interesting dilemma.'
So it would appear that Cardiff must decide if they play Craig from the start against Reading tonight. He would appear to fit enough to take part.
