Thier loss today at home to Fulham meant the Cottagers survived relegation and sent Reading and Birmingham City down to the Championship along with the already doomed Derby County.
Ironically both Reading and Birmingham both won today but Fulham's win at Fratton Park trumped the pair of them.
Cameron Jerome scored twice for Birmingham as they beat Blackburn 4 - 1 and former loan player James Harper scored for Reading in their 4 - 0 win at Derby.
