"We played some impressive football during the first half when the only complaint was the fact that we were not out of sight.
"We certainly had enough chances for that to be the case and Jason Koumas also slipped at the key moment when he had an excellent opportunity in the second period.
"Our goalkeeper Tom Heaton made a couple of excellent saves very early in the second half, but we failed to heed the warning.
"We lost our shape in the middle of the park and other players failed to step up to the plate after Seyi Olofinjana went off.
"Not only that, we lacked fight in key areas of the pitch. It doesn't matter how much ability you have in the ranks if you stop putting the hard work in.
"And unfortunately that is the area in which we fell short."

"Falling behind has become something of a trait for us, but we have the knack of coming on strong in the second half.
"There is no doubt Cardiff deserved their lead as they showed what a good side they can be in the first 45 minutes.
"But we felt we only needed to up our game by a few % and everyone saw that happened after the break.
"We really showed our quality by creating plenty of chances and scored a couple of great goals. We showed there is not a lot of difference between the two teams.
"We do a hell of a lot of work on finishing in training. The lads seem to love it and both Craig and George showed how clever they were when scoring with their supposed weaker feet.
"Now hopefully we will get either the smallest or biggest teams left in the competition. Who knows, we might even be the smallest!"
