Bogle, 24, left Grimsby for Wigan in January, but was transfer listed after boss Paul Cook said the player did not fit into his playing style.
It's been reported that Bogle had a medical in Wales on Wednesday and could be announced as a Cardiff City player today in a £1m deal.
There are fears amongst the fans that Bogle could be a replacement for Ken Zohore who is being targetted by Hull and Brighton.
But he could be great back up for Zohore and competition with Danny Ward as supporting striker.
