City's midfield options look likely to be further strengthened with a return to fitness of Jason Koumas.
The on loan Wigan midfielder has been out of the squad through illness after making an impact off the bench during a couple of games in early February.
“I owe the Bluebirds fans and that debt will be paid,” said Koumas.
“They will see me back to where I was when I last played for Cardiff. That’s a promise.”
With an attack force including Craig Bellamy, Michael Chopra and Jay Bothroyd it's goals that are need after back to back blanks resulting in two defeats.
Ipswich got the luck last Saturday when City's efforts deflected all ways bar in the goal and Palace survived with City missing a penalty and then scoring themselves a goal that was just ridiculously flukey with the Palace player facing away from goal when it bounced off him.
Maybe this week we'll get the luck.
