Notts police cause Mansfield cancellation

Mansfield had organised 4 home friendlies against Stoke, Leeds, Wolves and Cardiff all in a 10 day period but it appears the police were concerned at their ability to cover all four games in such a short space of time.

Mansfield have now called off the game against Cardiff leaving both teams without a fixture.

I''m not sure what they were expecting at Field Mill but I would'nt have thought more than a couple of hundred Cardiff fans would have travelled?
