No cap for Alexander

The tartan army have another friendly next month against Portugal so Alexander may get a chance there but usual No 1 Neil Sullivan is back in training and when he returns Alexander would slip back to 4th choice.

The experience though is very important and Alexander has been in and around the Scottish squad for several games and is in Berti Vogt's thinking.

Alexander should be back in the City line up against Blackpool on Saturday.
