The pair, with other Malaysian guests, watched Cardiff's 1 - 1 draw with Sheffield Utd and there was good news from TG with comments about his and his backers committment to Cardiff City FC.

Dave Jones explained afterwards

"I spent God knows how many hours with TG and Vincent's son," said Jones.

"We talked about where the club is going and what's happening.

"All the speculation of TG trying to get out is total rubbish.

"He is totally committed and told the players that. The embargo has been lifted and I can start to trade, which I will do over the next few days.

"I will be surprised if I don't have one or two players in over the next day or two. I trusted the board and they have got us out of the transfer embargo."

The Chairman also spoke to the players. Skipper Mark Hudson explains what happened.

"TG came in before the game and it was great for him to be here for the first game of the season," said Hudson.

"And he assured us everything is in good working order and that we're ready to drive on.

"That sounds great to us and hopefully that can happen.

"We had a meeting an hour-and-a-half before the game and he came in and said the things we wanted to hear.

"That's great and hopefully we can see it happen now.

"We've managed to keep the majority of the side together and Jason coming in is great news. But we've been assured we'll be getting a few more, which will only benefit us."
