New date set for FA Cup match

Tickets purchased for the postponed game will still be valid.
Should the game on Jan 12th end in a draw then a replay will be played in Cardiff on Tuesday January 19th, ko 7:45pm.
Speaking about today's postponement Bristol City boss Gary Johnson told
www.bcfc.co.uk "Three-quarters of the pitch would probably be okay at kick-off time but the referee had to make an early decision.
"They don't take chances these days and he decided it couldn't go ahead for safety reasons. We have to adhere to that.
"It's always a disappointment. I remember when I was a little kid and the games on the local park were called off. We do lots of work in the week building up the game and now there's no carrot on the end of it.
"It's always disappointing when it's the weather. It makes us even more determined to get a new stadium with undersoil heating.
"The groundstaff have done a terrific job trying to get the game on but it wasn't to be."
