Mulryne looking at future away from Cardiff

He told the Echo

'It's probably been the most frustrating season of my career. Nobody has seen me play and I haven't had the chance to show what I can really can do.

'It has been very frustrating for me because I have been fit for most of the year and played in the reserves a lot without getting too much action from the bench when I was in the first squad.

'And when I was on the bench and the team were trailing, I still didn't get on.

'But that's the manager's decision and to be fair to the lads they have done really well.'

Mulryne has picked up a knock that will keep him out for a couple of weeks and with only 5 games left for the Bluebirds his chances of playing look slim.

Mulryne says he's not yet spoken to Dave Jones about the situation but he knows himself that he's not played enough to realistically hope for another contract when his 1 year deal expires this summer.

'I think it's fair to say that my agent needs to be looking at a new club for me for next season.

'I hoped I would stay, but it's very unlikely.'
