Sean Morrison and Kenneth Zohore scored second half goals to silence 30,000 Leeds fans at Elland Rd today.
The win was sweet for a number of reasons, it takes Cardiff to 14th in the table, sees Neil Warnock get victory over his former club and Cardiff fans get to put one over on former Swansea manager Gary Monk.
It's a stunning scoreline against a Leeds side in the play off places on a rich run of home form. They had not conceded at Elland Rd in over 10 hours of football. But Morrison's header from Noone's free kick followed by Zohore's side footed finish a fine run by Gunnarsson smashed the home sides hopes.
Liam Bridcutt was then sent off for Leeds to compound their misery.
Before the game Leeds legend Eddie Gray told LUFC TV
“I am going for a resounding victory; I am going for three or four.
“I think we will really turn them over and I think it will be good for the side to win a game comfortably so that they can look forward to the rest of the season."
