Gilbert it's said by the Echo could be a season long loan while Poom could be a replacement for Neil Alexander if he moves on - again speculation of Neil leaving is a story from newspaperland .
Gilbert is a quality player and certainly one that would be a top addition to the City squad. Poom has plenty of experience at the top level when he was Derby's keeper in their Premiership days. He's third choice at Arsenal behind Lehman and Almunia.
